Where it runs
A browser, a phone, or inside your own application
There is no app to deploy and no device to enrol. If someone has a browser and an IFS account, they can use it — which is the entire point for people who touch IFS twice a month.
Where does NgageChat run?
NgageChat runs in any modern browser, including on a phone, so there is no app to install. It can also be embedded inside another application using a signed handoff token, and the whole deployment can be self-hosted in your own cloud so IFS traffic never leaves your environment.

In the browser
The full experience: conversation history, tool traces you can expand, charts, attachments and the confirmation step. Nothing to install for anyone who already has a browser and an IFS account.
On a phone
The same browser experience, sized for a phone. This is where fault reports and HSE incidents actually get created — standing in front of the problem, not back at the depot.
Embedded in another app
A host application opens NgageChat with a signed handoff token, which is exchanged for a scoped session. Used today by NgageFlow to open a conversation inside its own interface.
In your own cloud
Self-host so IFS traffic never leaves your environment, with the model provider and region configured per deployment. Or let EX10 run it and keep your side simple.
Honesty about the edges
What NgageChat is not
Being clear about this saves everyone a wasted evaluation, and the right answer usually exists elsewhere in the suite.
Not a Teams or Slack bot
NgageChat runs in the browser and embedded. Pushing IFS events into a chat channel is a different job — event-driven and unattended — and that is what NgageFlow does.
Not offline-capable
Every answer is read live from IFS, which needs connectivity. For structured capture that works with no signal and syncs later, NgageEase is the frontline product.
Not a reporting platform
Ask an ad-hoc question and get a table or a chart. When a recurring answer deserves a permanent, shareable, scheduled home, build it as a real report.
Not an unattended agent
NgageChat is human-initiated and single-step by design: you ask, it acts, you confirm. Multi-step processes that run on a schedule or a trigger belong in a workflow product.
