Pricing

Per user. Not per question.

An assistant people ration is an assistant nobody adopts. So the meter does not run on curiosity — you pay for the people who need access, and they ask as much as they like.

How much does NgageChat cost?

NgageChat is priced per user on an annual subscription rather than metered per question or per AI unit. The final figure depends on how many people need access and whether you self-host or have EX10 run it, so we quote after a short scoping conversation rather than publishing a number that would be wrong for most buyers.

Your boundary

For organisations with residency, sovereignty or controlled-environment requirements that shape the deployment rather than sit on top of it.

We do not publish a list price because the honest answer depends on user count and deployment, and a headline number would be wrong for most people reading it. A scoping call takes twenty minutes.

On metered AI pricing

Why we do not charge per question

Metered AI allowances are now common in ERP. We chose not to use one, and the reason is about adoption rather than generosity.

Metered AI pricing is an established model. Acumatica, for example, publishes an AI Assistant allowance of 5,000 AI Units a month — roughly 100 questions — with overage billable. It is a coherent commercial design and plenty of buyers are comfortable with it.

It does not fit what we are trying to change here. NgageChat only earns its place if people stop interrupting a colleague and ask the system instead, and that habit is fragile. A planner who has to weigh whether a question is worth a unit will hesitate, and the hesitation is the thing we were hired to remove. So we price the seat and let the questions run.

The trade is real and worth naming: per-seat costs more if only a handful of people ask occasionally. If that is your usage pattern, we will tell you — a metered product may genuinely suit you better, and we would rather say so than sell you the wrong shape.

Acumatica figures are quoted from Acumatica’s own published FAQ, checked August 2026.

FAQ

Pricing questions

How is NgageChat priced?
Per user, on an annual subscription, sized by how many people need conversational access and which deployment you choose. We publish the model rather than a price because the deployment — self-hosted in your cloud versus managed by EX10 — changes the shape of the number materially.
Is it metered per question or per AI unit?
No. Usage-metered AI pricing is common in ERP — Acumatica, for example, documents an allowance of 5,000 AI Units per month, roughly 100 questions, with overage billable. We price per user instead, because an assistant people hesitate to use is not doing its job.
Does NgageChat change our IFS licensing?
No. Your agreement with IFS is unaffected — each person still needs whatever IFS entitlement your licence requires for the data they touch, and IFS offers tiers below full user. Confirm the right tier with IFS or your partner before rollout.
What does an early-access engagement involve?
A scoped pilot on your own IFS environment: one area, a handful of named users, read-only first. We agree what success looks like before it starts and review it at the end of the period rather than assuming it renews.
Are there implementation costs?
There is setup work — connecting to your IFS environment, configuring the tenant, and enabling the areas you want. It is measured in days rather than months because nothing is installed inside IFS. EX10 can also help with adoption and rollout as a separate engagement.
When is it generally available?
Generally available Summer 2026. Early access is open now, which means running it against your own IFS environment and your own scenarios ahead of general availability.

Planning a wider IFS programme? EX10’s IFS consulting team handles the implementation side.
